HYTEN DAVIDSON

Hyten Davidson is a NYC-based writer, SAG actor, and graduate of The Hartt School Conservatory where she received her B.F.A in Acting, summa cum laude. She is classically trained and a graduate of the Accelerated Meisner Program at Green Shirt Studio in Chicago.

As a writer, her fiction has been published in New Reader Magazine, The Maine Review, and Landlocked Magazine. Her screenplays have won numerous Best Screenplay awards, detailed in the writing section. Her horror audio drama Come to Mama was produced by the award-winning The NoSleep Podcast. Listen here. Mary W. Shelley Scholarship recipient from the Horror Writers Association.
Other highlights include: The West Virginian Starfish, written and co-directed by Hyten, took home the Best Short Film award at the Long Island Film Expo. The Flip Side, a short she co-produced and starred in was a nominee for Best Short Film at last year's Cindependent Film Festival. Next up: her upcoming feature, a psychological thriller Something of a Monster will be available on all VOB platforms December 4th.

- Her short fiction piece Side Saddle was recently published as part of Quillkeepers Press's latest anthology. Hyten will be producing a short film adaptation of the story in Spring 2026.
- Hyten completed filming on an indie short film, directed by Reylan Alexis .
- Interview with the Santa Barbara Screenplay Awards for her crime thriller No Peace I Find.
